Ampla

Brand Relaunch for an Emerging Fintech Startup
Project Brief
Ampla was a fintech startup delivering tech-enabled financial solutions to help emerging CPG brands scale. As Ampla expanded into the broader food & beverage market, they needed a fully scalable visual identity system including with refreshed brand guidelines, LinkedIn carousels, Meta ads, Visa-branded credit-card designs, website redesign, and all sales and marketing collateral.
Obstacles
Without an in-house creative team, I had to rely on the marketing group for design feedback while juggling legacy assets and new branding simultaneously. Their old color palette and website failed WCAG contrast checks, and the lack of accessibility features threatened both compliance and usability as we rolled out new visuals.
Approach
I began with competitor research and collaborative mood-boarding in Figma, building out a Notion database to track over 100 brand assets, from brochures to motion posts. Iterating in Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, and Google Docs, I pitched concepts to stakeholders and worked hand-in-hand with our web-developer to implement alt text, improved color hierarchies, and component libraries.
Results
In just six months, and while legacy branding stayed live, we launched a modern identity that boosted accessibility scores from 75 to 50. Project timelines shrank by 75% and content-creation efficiency tripled, thanks to our new component and template library. Altogether, I delivered 100+ new assets and cut future design time by half.
Ampla was acquired in 2025 by FundThrough.
